CLC Boats Shearwater Sectional

If you’ve got some basic carpentry skills and tools, you can build your own watercraft. This one has great colors “out of the box” with the dark Sepele on the deck. And, the sectional nature with doubled bulkheads is still exceedingly hardy while remaining light, portable, and space-conscious.

I LOVE how it moves on the water. Comfortable, smooth, tracks well, roomy for storage and stable but not so wide as to require a European paddle. I’ve not had it in heavy seas, but it’s handled 1-2ft waves and 20mph winds just fine.

A great project - so an experience - with a tangible product at the end to admire and continue experiencing
